Brighton fun!

Hi everyone!

Sorry that my blog game at the moment is very poor - loads of things are happening at the moment and I'm struggling to keep on top of things. I haven't had time to take photos for beauty posts - so unfortunately you will be expecting just one blog post once a week, I'm sorry! Anyways, lets get into this post!

It's recently been half term in the UK and I've had a week full of doing work for college and also visiting family! Me and mum went down to Brighton to visit my cousin who is currently studying at Brighton University - so we decided to spend a day down there!

The journey was long both ways, from where I live it takes about 2 hours to get down there! On our way we had lots of stops, one which included a Costa stop - and my favourite drink is suitable to drink now, its technically spring right?! But we got there in the end - so here are some pictures and captions so you can see what we got up to!

We went into town after meeting my cousin for lunch, and we went and visited a chocolate shop called Choccy Woccy Do Dah - it's a well known chocolate shop and I really wanted to visit it whilst we were there! They decorated the windows with cakes that were completely made out of chocolate, as well as a dog made out of chocolate too?! I'm so glad that I went in there before I started my DeChox (I'll explain at the end!)

Even though the weather wasn't brilliant - we braved it to go down onto the beach and onto the pier. Yes, I shamefully own a selfie stick... But it was great to have - even if my phone nearly did crash onto the floor into the rocks and sand! We got stupidly cold when we got onto the pier, but that didn't stop us from going on the slot machines - memories! To end the day we visited a little coffee shop which sold loads of different hot chocolates - I went for the marshmallow hot chocolate, its definitely my new favourite flavour!

So that was a little Brighton post for you all - again sorry for the lack of content at the moment!

As I said at the beginning of the post, I'm doing a Dechox in the month of March! If you know me, you'll know I have a MASSIVE sweet tooth and I could literally eat chocolate or sweets all day everyday - its a curse really with the dentist but I can live with that;) So I've decided to challenge myself along with my friend, to not eat any rubbish i.e. sweets, biscuits, cake and chocolate for the WHOLE of March!! It will be a challenge, but I'm doing it in aid of the British Heart Foundation, a charity that means a lot to me and my family! We have a Just Giving page so if you could donate that would be lovely! Our set aim is £100 - we're aiming high on this! If you have  a major sweet tooth and want to give it up for a good cause, search Dechox on Google and sign yourself up!
JUST GIVING PAGE!

Music recommendation Monday

Hi everyone!

I haven't done anything in the slightest bit exciting this week - so I have been limited to show you a blog post for this week. However, this post is one of the ones I'd like to try out with you all and see how this goes. The title is pretty lame I know but I'd like to do this every few weeks or so to show you what type of music I'm listening to at that time and see if I find new artists from recommendations from you! I'm going to show you 3 artists who I'm obsessed with - and in return (if you feel like it) you can comment who I should listen to!

Nat & Alex Wolff

I've mentioned these two on the blog before during a monthly favourites - but I'm still totally obsessed with them! They're brothers and they sing and act - ones featured in TFIOS and he'll be Q in Paper Towns, they're basically all over the place! Their music is acoustic based which is the kind I really enjoy - and their lyrics are always so lovely! By far my favourite is Rules or Last Station, definitely give them a listen on YouTube (I'll make it easier and link below;)) They're not hugely famous for their music, and it would be great if they were - so give them a listen if you enjoy acoustic type music!

Shawn Mendes

Again, another one who's been mentioned on the blog before - but he just keeps getting better and better making me love listening to him even more! He started out as a Viner from Canada and over the past 12 months he's been releasing singles and albums and has sold out his tour in the UK - I was sad that I missed out on that one! My favourite song of his is his latest release called Something Big and my all time favourite is Show You (links below)

Dodie Clark

Dodie is a YouTuber and her content is writing beautiful songs accompanied by her ukulele. She's extremely talented and her own songs are amazing! Again, its all acoustic typed music, but its all her and nothing added. My favourite songs which are super catchy of hers are Paint and her cover of Daisy, Daisy. I promise you will adore her after listening to the links below!

So those are the music recommendations for this month I guess! This post might be something that I'll include  in the blog or it might be a one off! Who knows! Anyways, if you have any recommendations put them in the comment and I will have a listen!

See you in the next blog post,

Hi everyone!

I thought I'd give you another photography type post for you all. For my media course, I'm currently doing photography for a film idea and my idea is based around a wedding and I needed images of a church of some kind and I decided to have this wedding at Ely Cathedral. I haven't been there for a while so I thought it would be nice to go and get lots of images of the place and share a few of them with you. Its a lovely place to visit and its free too so if you're looking for something to do this is quite fascinating!
