Hi everyone! You guessed it, another DIY product for you all to use for yourself. This time I've trialled and tested this face scrub and it also contains ingredients that are very good for your skin.

So, lets get into it!

What you'll need:

  • Sugar
  • Honey
  • Lemon
  • Olive oil
  • Small jar
  • Spoon set (for measuring)

Step 1:

Grab your mixing bowl and place in one tablespoon of olive oil. Yep, thats right we need moisture for this scrub and what best place to get it from? I swear, I always use olive oil in all these DIY's? Trust me, it really helps!

Step 2:

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon.  (Key ingredient for this DIY!) Then add it into your olive oil.  Lemon has natural ingredients that do wonders for your skin. It brightens your face, making it glow. As well as this, it helps acne scars fade due to its lightening qualities!

Caution: Although this lemon scrub does wonderful things for your skin, lemon is very sensitive to direct sunlight. So when you're using this, it would be best to at night or/and especially inside!

Step 3:

Next, add in one tablespoon of honey. I would definitely recommend using honey in this scrub! This is because honey has natural ingredients that help with breakouts and acne. It helps tame the breakouts down as well as adding a sweet scent to the scrub.

Step 4:

Now, add in 1/2 cup of sugar. Just like in my lip scrub DIY, sugar acts like the exfoliant in this. This will get rid of all dead skin cells on your face leaving your skin feeling nice and soft.

Step 5:

Mix all the ingredients together. Then when it has fully combined, transport it into a small pot that you may have lying around!

And you're done! I really love making scrubs, because you know whats going into to it & it is so much cheaper than going out to buy a high end expensive one in the shops! I hope this has helped, let me know your thoughts in the comments!

See you in the next blog post,

Grace x
