Lsj news
Becoming Editor in 2019 for LSJ News, I wanted to manage the content which goes out on their social media platforms and use them to their full extent. All three platforms were used to share out the stories that all level year groups were sharing over on the LSJ News website to gain more traction to the website. This role taught me the most on how to utilise each platform to it's strengths, work out what works for our audience as well as being able to promote our projects through social video.

this week in lincoln, igtv series
As editor I created an Instagram TV series which showed our viewers about all the events happening in and around Lincolnshire. All videos were produced and edited by myself. This series was created with the aim to differentiate news from events in the LSJ News bulletins.
social videos
During my time as editor, social videos were continuing to be the forefront of spreading news on social media. Over the course of my year there, I created multiple social videos to promote what we were doing at LSJ News, especially during the 2019 Election and the opening few weeks of the nationwide lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.
Promotional videos
As well as promoting our student-run news programme, I was also asked to create promotional style videos to promote the journalism course at the University of Lincoln. These included editing short snippets from videos of alumni students and getting current students to talk about their time at the University of Lincoln.
