Christmas Day re cap

Hi everyone!

Christmas is officially over for this year and I hope you all had a very lovely and relaxing day! I actually laid in for once for Christmas morning - woke the house up at 8 o'clock one hour later than last year!;)

So we opened our gifts first thing and I received some lovely gifts from family and friends. I got lots of new eyeshadow so I will definitely be doing some eyeshadow regimes  in the new year for you all! I got perfumes which smell gorgeous and received a lot of my favourite sweets: Maoam pinballs! (I'm still trying to finish them all now!)

As per usual, I was the first to get ready and my hair and makeup actually looked nice! I did a smokey eye with red lips and the look stayed all day - even after an afternoon nap! *insert picture of very nice looking makeup here*

We took some family pictures (not all being attractive) and I started helping mum out with the Christmas dinner and pudding, but I got distracted easily and starting reading a new book that I got (sorry mum!)

Me and my brother looking fab;)
The day was so relaxing, I loved it! After my grandfather left, we started playing guess the Disney film with my new CD Now Thats What I Call Disney (my new 2015 jam;)) and then me and my dad had a game of rummy - I still can't play at all well! And then for a nice surprise, Google Play had given us a voucher for a movie, so we brought Frozen and watched that at around 2 in the morning! By then I was tired, full of food and Christmassed out - so I went to sleep and woke up extremely late on Boxing Day and done the exact same things I did the day before!

So yeah, that was Christmas 2014 and the blogs first Christmas too! I will be changing the theme back too, bit early to be putting decorations up isn't it? I hope you all had a wonderful day - let me know in the comments what you got up to! Now, I'm off to finalise my New Years Eve look!!

See you in the next blog post (in 2015!!),

Hi everyone!

So sorry this post is up late this evening, today has been go go go. Went into Cambridge to get some very last minute Christmas presents & also collecting our turkey for Christmas day! Hope you are all relaxing and enjoying your time off and if you do celebrate it, are you looking forward to Christmas? I know I am! But I'm really looking forward to giving all my gifts out as for the first year ever I've brought the presents with my own money so it feels a lot more festive.

Just an update for you all, I think I'm going to be skipping the beauty post of Friday as I'm all over the place for the next week and I don't think I'm going to have time to get a decent post up for Friday. Don't worry though, things will be back to normal by next week!

Anyways, this post was just here to let you know whats happening for the next week or so. I hope you lovely readers have a wonderful Christmas and spend it round with those who love you and if you don't celebrate Christmas, enjoy your time off - its been a long year!

Merry Christmas and see you in the next blog post,

Photo #1

Hi everyone!

All over my Facebook timeline (or news feed?) nearly everyone has been posting 5 pictures that make them happy. I have been nominated  but I felt that it would be a lovely post to share with you and the reasons behind each photo! And because its nearing Christmas (10 more sleeps!) I've been thinking A LOT about my loved ones so this post was perfect to share with you guys. Also, I loved doing my photos throughout the day a few weeks back, and I wanted to do another one which was fairly similar.

I love love LOVE this photo! It just captures one of the happiest and easiest times of my life! In this photo is my brother and my mother (I didn't intend for that to rhyme...) and it makes me laugh how here we were both smaller then and now we both tower over her.

This photo means a lot to me (and to my whole family too!) This was the first Christmas for 14 years since the whole family on one side were together. The Christmas that the whole family was together before, I wasn't even around yet! We're all dotted around the place so it is hard for us all to be together and finally we all were - I love them all to pieces!!

Throwback to prom! This is my favourite photo of me and my closest friends - we clean up good ey! I think this photos shows how much we've all changed and that we've all grown up. We've been through so much together and this just makes me incredibly happy on how far we've come as a little group!

This photo literally sums up the best summer ever! I loved going to Canada and at least one photo had to make my top 5. And the day that this was taken was such a fun day too! Whenever I see this photo it will always make me happy!

And the final photo! This was taken 2 years nearly 3 years back now! Here I am with my crazy cousins (as if you couldn't tell by the photo!) This was such a fun filled day and I love these three so much!

And those are my 5 photos that make me extremely happy when I see them! If you've done the tag, let me know what photos are included - also I tag anyone reading this who hasn't done it!

See you in the next blog post,

It's finally feeling like Christmas

Hi everyone!

I'm finally starting to feel a LOT more Christmassy after this weekend. As I'm writing this, Home Alone 2 is on & I've been ordering final presents for friends and family - all I need to do now is put up the decorations (hopefully I'll be able to show you pictures next week!)

This week, my mum and her team on Royston Means Business held a Christmas fair in our town to help promote business' around the town and help people find quirky little Christmas gifts!

(I thought I would share with you some pictures of the event as it was so lovely and when I look back on this post next year I'll be able to see some differences!)

There was SO much food! I was working most of the day, but on my lunch break I walked around with my dad and we sampled so much stuff - I've probably put on so much after all of the samples! Also, there were some lovely stalls - my dads brought me and my mum some gorgeous bracelets, I'm in love with it. It was such a festive Saturday, the town band were playing the classic Christmas songs and there was even a steel band (they sounded so good!) Next year will be even better and I can't wait. Also, my family came to visit too and it makes me even more excited for Christmas as I will be seeing them again then!

Sorry for the shortish post and not very exciting, I've been feeling so so so ill this weekend too and haven't had much time to think about a seasonal blog post for you all. I promise next weeks should be more exciting & I'm looking forward to sharing my beauty post on Friday!

See you in the next blog post,

p.s. to make it up to you, i've made a christmas playlist which is filled with my favourite tracks - so listen below & hope you get into the spirit of christmas too!! x
