For two of my colleagues second year podcast, it was vital that social media was used in order to get views on their videos. Using all three platforms meant I was able to play with different elements from graphics to videos to get engagement from the audience.

To gain more traction on the podcast's episodes, I created small video snippets to tease the upcoming episodes. These were shared out on all social channels for the audience to view before the episode was shared. I also shared a second teaser the day after the episode aired for more people to watch it. As a team, we decided to show our audience who the people are behind the podcast were and created a Meet the Team series on our Instagram feed. The examples can be found on The Weekend Show's Instagram Page.
